Full itinerary for Machu Picchu excursion:
Day 1: Arrival to Cusco
At your arrival to Cusco city, our representative will welcome you at the airport and then take you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest and acclimate. You can also go around to see some of the ancient Inca Streets. We suggest you visiting Qoricancha, Hatun rumiyoc, Main square and San Pedro market.

Day 2: Super Sacred Valley – Pisac town – Pisac Market – Moray, Salt mine & Ollantaytambo
You will start driving toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas, taking the beautiful road to Pisac. On the way to Pisac, you will stop at the weaving center of Awana cancha. Also at the lookout of Taray to take in the view of the Urubamba valley. The valley has farming fields, which look like carpets. You will arrive in the town of Pisac to visit the big souvenir Market, driving 20 minutes higher you will visit one of the most impressive Inca buildings in the Sacred Valley. Afterward, you will continue to the town of Urubamba to enjoy a nice lunch.
After lunch you will visit the stunning Salt pans of Maras, afterwards you drive to the always amazing Inca laboratory of Moray. Where the guide will explain you all the history of this wonderful site and to finish the day you will explore Ollantaytambo. Which is an attractive town of Inca foundation with remarkable water channels and nice streets of Inca design. Ollantaytambo also has a spectacular Inca fortress on the mountain top. In the evening you will travel by train to Aguas Calientes town.

Day 3: Machu Picchu – Back to Cusco.
In the morning at the appropriate time, our guide will pick you up from the hotel. Then lead you to the bus station, where you board one of the buses that will take you to the gate of Machu Picchu. Where you will participate in a guided tour of this wonder of the world, visiting the Main Plaza, the Sun Temple, the Royal palace, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Main temple & Sacred Rock. You will have an unforgettable day at this mysterious and charming place, considered as the lost city in the cloud-forest. After the guided tour, free time to explore the zone on your own or you can take the hiking options:
- Climb to Wayna Picchu; for the adventurous people, is suggested to hike up the Huayna Picchu from where you can observe the majestic of Machu Picchu, even more amazing being very high (only available if you book in advance).
- Walk to the popular Inca Bridge
In the afternoon at the scheduled hour, you board the bus down to Aguas Calientes, and then have the Train journey back to Ollantaytambo station and then you will be transported to Cusco by car. The journey by train takes approximately 1:40 Hours and 1:30 hours.

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain day trek
To start the Rainbow Mountain trek, travelers are picked up from hotels in Cusco at 5:00am and then you travel through the south Valley of Cusco to the trail head at Llaqto (4,626 m / 14,780 ft) for approx.3 hours. before you reach out to the last stop you will get a nice breakfast in a local restaurant.
At the parking place you will get the necessary thing for the day and start the hike, around beautiful hills with herds of Alpacas. Also you there will be great views of a tall glacier and locals walking up and down with the horses. This Rainbow Mountain Trek, became a must do hike. So you will see many other groups going to Vinicunca Mountain.
After hiking for almost 2 hours you will arrive in the proximity of the famous Mt Vinicunca (5,100 m / 16,500 ft); you will go on the top of the lookout and get spectacular views of the area, including the towering Mt Ausangate. Vinicunca has layers of minerals, which gives the interesting coloration to the hills.
Having a great moment at the Majestic at Vinicunca Peru, you will walk back down to the parking place. In the afternoon after a delicious lunch, you will have 3 hours drive to Cusco.
