Full Itinerary of Maras Moray Machu Picchu journey
Day 1: Arrival to Cusco
Upon your arrival to the airport of Cusco, our representative will welcome you and then transfer you to the hotel in the down-town. The rest of the day is free to rest and get acclimated to the altitude, you can also go to explore some of the ancient Inca Streets in the center onf the city.

Day 2: Tour to Chinchero, moray, Salt mines – Aguas Calientes
You will start from the hotel at 8:30am with your guide. Then a 40 minutes of car drive will take you to the fertile plain of Chinchero, a nice area sorrounded by farming fields & beautiful landscapes. At Chinchero you will stop to see the locals weaving center. You will continue traveling to the town of Maras. Which is a nice colonial town with interesting doorways made of stone, unique around Cusco region. Then 20 minutes drive to the west of Maras will take to the famous Inca ruins of Moray called “the Inca laboratory”. The guide will explain you history of this wonderful place and you will walk around.
Afterwards you will drive to the Salt mines, on the way to the salt pans of Salineras you will pass by some farming fields and enjoy the great scenery. At your arrival to Salineras, The guide will show you this fascinating salt mine own by the locals, with more than 3000 pools still in production. There will be a short drive to Urubamba (optional to stop for lunch). At the scheduled time you will be transferred to the train station of Ollantaytambo and then connect to Aguas Calientes town by train.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
In the morning at the appropriate time, the guide will lead you to the bus station. Taking one of the buses you will have a short drive to teh gate of the lost city of the Incas “Machu Picchu”. Where a professional tour guide will transmit you all the history of this mysterious and mystical place (Sun Temple, Royal Palace, Main Temple, Three Windows Temple and Sun Dial). It will be a memorable experience. After the guided excursion, you will have some free time to relax around this wonder of the world.
At the appropriate time we will go down to Aguas Calientes by bus and then return to Cusco. The journey back is approx. 3 hours.

Day 4: Cusco – Flight to Lima
At the appropriate time you will be transported to Cusco airport for your departure flight to Lima. End of our service.
