Itinerary for Sacred Valley Machu Picchu travel
Day 1: Sacred Valley – Pisac ruins – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes
After to pick you up from the hotel, you will traveling toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas, using the paved road going to Pisac town. Entering to the valley you will stop at the Mirador of Taray to take the nice pictures of the Urubamba valley. This valley shows interesting faming fields set up on the mountain faces and the bottom close by the Sacred River. Continuing with our trip, we will drive to the ruins of Pisac to admire and explore this great site. Afterward, passing by Pisac town (optional to stop here), we will continue to the town of Urubamba to enjoy the refueling lunch.
After lunch there will be a short drive to get in Ollantaytambo, an attractive town of Incan origin with remarkable water channels and stone streets. You will have enough time to see the ruins and part of the town, then at the scheduled time you catch the train to travel to Aguas Calientes town, where we spend the night.

Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco.
In the morning our guide will pick you up from the hotel, then you will have a bus ride to the citadel of Machupicchu. Where you will participate in a guided tour of this great site, you will visit the Main Plaza, the Sun Temple, the Sacred Sun Dial the Royal palace, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Main temple, Sacred Rock, warehouses, a large central square; and all the most interesting places. It will be a marvelous experience at this mysterious place, named as one of the new 7 wonders of the world.
In the afternoon at the scheduled time, you will board the bus down to Aguas Calientes, and then the Train ride back to Ollantaytambo and then you will be picked up by our transfer.
The journey by train to Ollantaytambo takes approximately 1:40 Hours and then 1:30 hours by car to get back to your hotel in Cusco.
